Veterinary Services
Montgomery Animal Hospital offers the following services, all of which meet or exceed the standards set by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA):
- New patient examinations by appointment (call 791-7912)
- Established patient examinations by appointment (or drop-off service) for:
- medical problems (injury, illness, behavior)
- preventative health checkups & wellness program (pediatric, adult, senior)
- Daily doctor personal communication with clients
- Client Counseling:
- new pet purchase
- behavioral issues
- dental hygiene and disease prevention
- nutrition and weight control
- flea prevention and management
- patient quality of life issues and euthanasia
- Patient evaluation, diagnostics and treatment for various medical ailments (including but not limited to heart, lung, intestine, kidney, bladder, teeth, gums, bones, joints, skin, ears, eyes and endocrine problems to name a few).
- Radiographic services - onsite x-ray imaging for dogs and cats
- Electrocardiographs services (ECG) - diagnostic evaluations
- Laboratory services - "in house" testing with basic results immediately. Outside reference labs for more advanced testing with a 24 hour turn around time for most results.
- Anesthesia services - emphasis on minimizing risk to patient
- Surgical services - performed in a surgical suite that meets AAHA standards for both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures
- Dental services - professional cleaning and polishing (ultrasonic scaling), dental radiography, periodontal disease treatment and prevention.
- Pharmacy services - for your convenience our in-house pharmacy can provide most of the prescription drugs your pet will need.
